Robert Nitsche has been involved with insurance his entire life. A second-generation insurance agent, Nitsche grew up in a house where clients called upon his father for advice at all hours of the day and night. Growing up in an insurance agency, meant starting early, working hard and earning your own way.

His unique experiences, strong family values and solid work ethic have helped Nitsche as COO and CFO grow the family business into one of the largest independent insurance agencies in Texas.

Now CEO, Nitsche continues to lead Insurance Network of Texas, helping the agency grow in size and service. But perhaps more importantly, Nitsche is helping maintain the same family values and hometown hospitality that Insurance Network of Texas clients have come to appreciate over the past 61 years.

Nitsche has a BBA from the Baylor Hankamer School of Business, an MBA from SMU and in 2010, Nitsche graduated from the distinguished Owner/President Management Program from Harvard University.

R.J. Nitsche is the Chairman of Insurance Network of Texas and has been a managing partner, CEO since 1971.

He grew up in Giddings, Texas, the same small town he would later base his growing company. After attending Rice University, where he was involved in football and baseball, he began his insurance career with American General Group. There, he earned the marketing experience and insight which helped him develop Insurance Network of Texas.

The company has grown from R.J.’s focus and determination to develop a successful business in a small town built around the idea that “our customers are our best sales people.” With outstanding clients and committed service teams, Insurance Network of Texas has steadily grown over the years.

Today, R.J. specializes in construction and surety business, and enjoys mentoring the administration and staff of the company he helped grow.

Gary has dedicated the last 32 years to ensuring Insurance Network of Texas clients receive the best property, casualty and employee benefits insurance possible. His hard work and dedication has helped the company become one of the top independent agencies in the nation.

Gary graduated from Southwest Texas, in 1976, with a degree in Marketing and minor in Management. His time at Southwest Texas built upon a framework for integrity and success, which had been instilled in him throughout his life.

Just a few, short years after graduation, Gary joined the Insurance Network of Texas team as the V.P. of the La Grange office. Throughout his career, he has worked closely with construction and utility companies, and has specialized in property, casualty and employee benefits insurance.

Today, with more than thirty years of experience to guide him, Gary is co-owner of Insurance Network of Texas. His commitment to the company will assure the continued success of Insurance Network of Texas.

Ashley joined the Insurance Network of Texas team in 1991 and began his career as an Administrator where he utilized his natural enthusiasm, ability to motivate and leadership skills, to advance within the company.

Over the years, Ashley has proudly reached out to his community by participating in or chairing numerous activities including: Bastrop Mentor Program, Bastrop Chamber of Commerce, Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Bastrop Noon Lions Club, Bastrop Networking Group, Bastrop County Industry Development Corporation, Calvary Episcopal School, Bastrop Sportman Committee, Ducks Unlimited of Bastrop, Kid PAC, Friends of Bastrop, the last of which were instrumental in the passing of bonds benefiting public education.

Because of his involvement, Ashley has been recognized for his hard work within the Bastrop community. In 2002, he was voted Bastrop County Man of the Year, and was presented the Distinguished Service Award by Ducks Unlimited in 2006. Ashley was also named Bastrop ISD’s Ambassador of Education for 2007 and was the recipient of the 2008 Bastrop Chamber of Commerce Sportsman Committee Citizen of the Year award.

Today Ashley is responsible for overseeing the sales efforts of the agency and continues to nurture the seventeen year relationship he has developed with Insurance Companies. Benefiting from over 20 years of experience, Ashley continues to work toward his goal of meeting the ever changing needs of his clients while providing them with creative and cost saving solutions.

Patty is an industry expert, with 31 years of hands-on experience. For 21 years, she has specialized in creating real world solutions for the insurance needs of cooperatives, utility companies and energy programs.

Patty is a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and Certified Risk Manager (CRM) and continues to educate herself on industry trends. Each year, she attends educational classes to become more knowledgeable on the products and services she provides clients.

In her 24 years with Insurance Network of Texas, she has cultivated client relationships from the ground up, built on trust, hard work and commitment. This dedication stems from her passion for the industry.

Since her first job in the insurance industry with an independent New Mexico agency, she has believed in empowering clients with the tools necessary to safeguard their goals and dreams. With more than 30 years of experience to guide her, Patty is now the Vice-President of Insurance Network of Texas, and strives every day to better insure and better protect her clients.

Jeff is a Texas native and avid runner. He attended Texas A&M University where he earned a degree in Agribusiness and later completed Harvard Business School’s Executive Education program.  He is a certified National Alliance CSRM and Dynamics of Sales Training graduate. He has also completed the Independent Insurance Agents of Texas Producer Training Program and The Safeco Producer School.

In 1998, he joined the Insurance Network of Texas team. With him, he brought his experience and knowledge from his education and his focus from the running trail. Since beginning his career with Insurance Network of Texas, Jeff has managed multiple offices and was named Vice President of Insurance Network of Texas in 2006.

Today, he specializes in healthcare and construction casualty and bonding. He currently works as the New Commercial Business Manager where he utilizes his experience and education to train and mentor all new Commercial Lines Producers.
